We all have but one life to live. If indeed life is short we want to leverage all that we are to build God’s kingdom and not our own. For over a decade we have seen that work take place in the hearts and transformed lives of teens and adults as we poured our lives into a thriving student ministry. We have never seen student ministry as a stepping-stone to “real” ministry, but as a high calling. Years ago we began to feel the tug on our heart to plant a church with a heart for the next generation. It can feel incredibly intimidating to stand at the ledge deciding to make the leap of faith. After years of prayer, knocking on doors, and many many conversations we took that leap. We planted a new church in the south west hills of Pittsburgh, TreeLine Church. It has been an incredible journey just to get to this point. God has been faithful, and we believe he will continue to be. We have a huge vision for the Pittsburgh region and are excited to see how God continues to write the story. The lyrics from Kari Jobe say it best, “It is not fame that I desire, nor stature in my brother's eye, I pray it's said about my life that I lived more to build your name than mine.
